HOLT® has machining and welding capabilities to provide complete structural repair and rebuilding for any make of equipment--at our shop or in your field.
MACHINING
No matter how large or small the job, our experienced machinists are able to perform precise machining repairs or manufacturing using state of the art equipment. HOLT Machine shops technicians have access to traditional and computer guided equipment. Machine tooling includes boring mills for large in-shop line boring; two smaller mills with 2-1/2” spindles; a horizontal mill; 6 lathes; 5 drill presses including a 500 ton brake press; a state of the art Climax boring machine; a CNC lathe and other precision cutting and drilling equipment.
WELDING SERVICES
From pin holes to major cracks, HOLT's certified welders will repair equipment back to factory specifications, structural integrity and appearance. We have the latest equipment for welding, thermal spray welding and abrasive resistant material application. HOLT can easily repair worn parts using thermal spray welding in a variety of coatings (stainless steel, bronze, babbit, nickel, aluminum or hard surfacing) and in a range of hardness, for a fraction of the cost of purchasing a new part.
Abrasion Resistant Material (A.R.M) can be applied to just about any cutting edge, tooth or bucket to extended ground engaging tool life, reduce downtime and equipment maintenanct cost.
A fleet of 22 field service machining and welding trucks equipped with cutting edge line boring and welding machines allows HOLT to quickly handle equipment related machining and welding repairs in the field, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
